Frank’s at The Old Mill

Frank’s at The Old Mill is located on Highway 54 in Fayetteville several miles east of Peachtree City.

The restaurant is located in the stately, historic building and saw mill and if you have traveled Highway 54 going east to west between Fayetteville and Peachtree City I’m sure you have seen this distinctive building located near Lake Bennett.

Swans and Geese can be seen swimming in the lake as you enjoy your delicious meal.

Many of the area residents remember “The Old Mill” restaurant and the new owner incorporated that name into Frank’s and that has helped bring back the nostalgia for some.

However, Frank’s has also carved out their own niche by offering a varied menu of high quality Italian and Greek dishes that delight the senses.

According to the owner many of their dishes go back seven generations and you can definitely taste the homemade flavor.

The presentation was also pleasant and vibrant. The restaurant appears to have great community support based on the number of cars that are there, especially on the weekend.

The menu features Mediterranean dishes, seafood, delicious lunch specials, salads, sandwiches and burgers.

There is also a business express menu that promises to serve you lunch in 15 minutes or its free.

Menu items include French Peppercorn Steak Bites and Salad, Black Angus Homemade Meatloaf, Seafood Newburg, Steak Diane and many others.

Some popular dinner entrees include Franks Famous Lasagna, Greek Chicken, Black Angus Prime Ribs, and the Fresh Catch which is delivered daily among others.

The owner believes in high quality, fresh food and this extends all the way to the fresh herbs that are grown just outside the restaurant.

Frank's at The Old Mill is one of my favorite South Atlanta restaurants and when I am in the area and in a dining mood—Frank’s at the Old Mill is always a good choice.

Although I am not big on desserts, others in my dining party state that the cakes, mousses, pastries and other desserts are delicious. The customer service was also prompt and impressive.

Frank’s at The Old Mill is open Monday through Saturdays and is especially busy on the weekend—therefore it would be wise for you to make a reservation if you plan on dining their on the weekend.

With such delicious food it is easy to see why they also offer catering and will also host special events. They have two rooms upstairs that can hold meetings, wedding rehearsal dinners, private parties and other select functions.

Frank’s at The Old Mill also has a VIP Club. Visitors who sign up at franksattheoldmill.com will receive coupons and announcements about special events and offers at the restaurant.

Frank’s at The Old Mill is open Monday through Saturday from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm.
