Central Atlanta locations provide good access to public transportation (MARTA Bus and Rail service), easy access to Downtown Atlanta and Buckhead and provide close in city type living. These communities have many well established homes on various lot sizes.

Virginia Highlands, located in North East Atlanta is an older community with elegant Homes on decent size lots. The homes feature well manicured lawns and access to downtown Atlanta is less than 15 minutes away.

Many of the subdivisions of Central Atlanta homes are over 50 years old. In general homes of Central Atlanta can be pricey, but you can find good deals in Hapeville, College Park and East Point. However, those communities are close to the airport and the schools are not as strong as other metro Atlanta schools in general.
